When Bob was 19, he felt called by God and drew inspiration from Habakkuk 2:2. His aspiration was to play professional baseball while glorifying God, serving as a light to others and sharing the victory found through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
That vision became the foundation of everything Crossing Home Ministries does today.
“Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he who runs may read it.”Habakkuk 2:2
Bob’s baseball career carried the vision from college fields to the biggest stages in the game.
Through a Baseball Chapel leader, Bob discovered how applying God’s Word to his game transformed his approach to the sport. The pressure of performance was replaced with the freedom of playing for Christ, a freedom that would become the heartbeat of the ministry he and Becky would build.
We develop athletes’ physical, mental, and spiritual capabilities through camps, clinics, team practices, and instruction, helping young athletes discover their identity in Christ while building their lives on a foundation of faith.
